Gaps in your docs, drafted articles and testing
Find what your docs don't answer, draft the missing article, and test your docs against past questions.
All three are on the Insights page.
Gaps in the docs
Gaps in the docs lists questions from the last 30 days that your docs didn't answer, or whose answer a visitor marked unhelpful. They are grouped by the words they share, up to 8 groups, each with a few of the questions asked.
Draft an article
- Press Draft an article under a gap.
- The AI writes a draft from your closest existing docs. It writes only what your docs already say, and marks every fact it needs from you as [TO CHECK].
- Open the draft under Drafts. The facts to check are listed above it.
- Check them, then press Add to your knowledge base to review it and publish it on Articles, or copy it to your own docs site. Nothing is published for you.
Press Draft again for a new attempt. Your company can make 5 drafts a day. They are paid for from your daily chat budget and don't count as AI answers. Drafts quote visitors' questions, so they are deleted after 90 days.
Test the docs as they are now
This is on Growth and Scale. Use it after you change your docs and crawl them again.
- Under Test the docs as they are now, press Ask them again now.
- It asks up to the last 30 different questions again, through the chat as it is now. Questions a person takes whatever the docs say, such as account or security questions, are left out.
- Reload after a minute. The page shows which questions are now answered and which now go to a person. Check those first.
Nothing is shown to visitors, and nothing is kept as a chat. A test costs about what that many chat answers cost, from today's chat budget, and doesn't count as AI answers. It is refused if it would need more than half of what is left of today's budget. Your company can run 2 a day, one at a time. Results quote visitors, so they are deleted after 90 days.
